Privacy policy
Last updated 24 October 2026. We follow the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Have a lawyer review this policy and register with the Data Protection Commission before commercial launch.
What we collect
Your name, phone number, email (optional), and what you add to your account: enquiries, bookings, reviews, and for professionals, profile details, work photos and verification documents. We also keep basic security logs such as IP addresses.
Why
To run the service, connect customers with professionals, prevent fraud, verify identities, handle complaints and improve the platform.
Who sees it
A professional's public profile is visible to everyone. A customer's name and phone number are shared only with professionals they contact. Verification documents are seen only by our review team. Payment details are handled by Paystack; we never store card or mobile money PINs.
How long we keep it
While your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, security or dispute reasons.
Your rights
You can see and correct your data in your account, delete your account from Account settings, or contact us to ask what we hold about you.
Security
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and private documents are not publicly accessible.
